About the Role

Maharah Human Resources is seeking a PMO Specialist to join its Strategy Department in Riyadh. This full-time role is focused internally on supporting the establishment and maintenance of project governance, monitoring strategic initiatives, tracking performance, and ensuring project delivery aligns with organizational strategic objectives. The position does not involve client or account management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track the execution of strategic initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Ensure projects adhere to the organization's PMO standards, governance framework, and methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain project governance documentation, templates, and standards.
  • Support project managers in applying PMO processes and best practices.
  • Maintain the strategic project portfolio and monitor project status.
  • Consolidate project updates, risks, issues, and dependencies across initiatives.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and resource utilization.
  • Support portfolio prioritization and project performance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain PMO dashboards and executive reports.
  • Monitor project KPIs and strategic performance indicators.
  • Prepare periodic reports for executive management and governance committees.
  • Analyze project performance and recommend improvement actions.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete and compliant with PMO standards.
  • Support quality assurance reviews and governance audits.
  • Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes, governance, and reporting.
  • Develop standardized templates, workflows, and project management tools.
  • Promote continuous improvement across project delivery practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in PMO, Strategy Execution, Corporate Strategy, or Project Management.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO frameworks, project governance, and portfolio management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • PMP, PMI-PMOCP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working within a Strategy, Transformation, or PMO Office.
  • Experience supporting executive committees and strategic governance meetings.
  • Familiarity with OKRs, Balanced Scorecard (BSC), strategic planning, and performance management.
  • Experience with enterprise PMO tools (*, Jira, Smartsheet, Planview, Microsoft Project).

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
