About the Portfolio Manager Role

Senna is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join its global asset manager Equities platform. This full-time, on-site position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding investment processes, developing actionable insights, and managing existing portfolios across various strategies.

Core Responsibilities

The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for:

  • Jointly developing and implementing investment policies, while directing portfolio management for specific strategies and overseeing a significant asset base.
  • Assuming shared responsibility for all aspects of fund management for assigned strategies, including investment decisions and compliance.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of market trends, economic indicators, and individual securities to identify investment opportunities and associated risks.
  • Monitoring and evaluating portfolio performance, implementing adjustments to optimize returns, minimize risk, and ensure alignment with client objectives and firm targets.
  • Ensuring the timely production of accurate investment reports for both external and internal clients.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities, attract clients, and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Participating in industry events and networking to stay informed on market developments and represent the firm.
  • Adhering to all relevant rules and regulations governing client portfolio management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of buy-side experience in equities portfolio management, with a demonstrated track record across multiple sectors.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in financial modeling and valuation analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in portfolio management software and financial analysis tools.
  • A solid understanding of market trends, economic indicators, and individual securities, with a history of optimizing portfolio performance.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
