About the Product & Project Manager Role
Modern Construction is seeking a motivated Product & Project Manager to oversee the development, launch, and operational execution of its SportsTech platform. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, requires a blend of product management, project management, business operations, customer success, and startup execution expertise. The successful candidate will manage the complete product lifecycle from concept through to commercial launch, ensuring successful user adoption and driving daily startup operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Management: Translate business vision into product requirements, define product roadmaps and priorities, develop MVP scope and future releases, create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), define user stories and acceptance criteria, conduct market analysis, and gather stakeholder feedback.
- Product Development: Collaborate with UI/UX designers and development teams, prioritize features, manage the product backlog, lead sprint planning and review sessions, and ensure product alignment with business objectives.
- User Experience: Ensure intuitive athlete and coach experiences, monitor platform usability, and recommend improvements based on user behavior.
- Project Management: Oversee website and mobile app development, track project milestones and deliverables, monitor timelines and budgets, coordinate development teams, and identify and mitigate project risks.
- Agile Management: Conduct daily stand-ups, manage sprint cycles, monitor sprint velocity, and facilitate retrospectives and planning sessions.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with software vendors and manage third-party integrations to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- User Onboarding: Design and manage athlete, club, and academy onboarding programs, including profile creation, verification, support, and training, ensuring smooth adoption and a positive customer success experience.
- Startup Operations: Drive day-to-day company operations, coordinate cross-functional activities, monitor KPIs, establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), develop workflows, and manage stakeholder communication.
- MVP & Launch Management: Lead MVP planning and execution, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage Version enhancements and bug resolution, and lead go-live activities and post-launch improvements.
Deliverables and Timeline
Key deliverables are expected within specific timeframes:
- Within 30 Days: Product roadmap, MVP scope definition, development plan, athlete onboarding framework, and sprint management structure.
- Within 90 Days: MVP launch, initial athlete database onboarding, operational website, mobile application beta release, and KPI dashboard establishment.
- Within 180 Days: Version launch, completed athlete and club onboarding, operational user support framework, and commercial go-live.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Sports Management, or Project Management. A Master’s degree is considered a plus.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or Startup Operations.
- Preferred experience in SportsTech, startup environments, SaaS platforms, mobile application development, or marketplace platforms.
Technical and Soft Skills
Proficiency is required in:
- Technical Knowledge: Mobile App Development, Web Platform Development, Agile Methodology, Scrum Framework, UX/UI Principles, APIs & Integrations, Product Lifecycle Management, Software Testing, Data Analytics, and CRM Systems. Experience with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, *******, Trello, Notion, Figma, Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Slack, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, problem-solving mindset, high ownership mentality, ability to thrive in startup environments, stakeholder management, time management, decision-making capability, adaptability, and resilience.

The ideal candidate is a startup-minded professional capable of functioning effectively as a Product Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Customer Success Manager, and Implementation Manager.
