About the Role
Talent Blueprint FZ LLC is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of activities for a major sporting event in Saudi Arabia. This contract role requires an individual with strong organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities across various event functional areas.
- Maintain project schedules, trackers, action logs, and reporting tools to monitor progress against key milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project objectives.
- Organise and support meetings, workshops, and project review sessions, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation actions, escalating concerns where appropriate.
- Prepare regular project reports, dashboards, presentations, and status updates for management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the coordination of operational planning activities, venue readiness initiatives, and event delivery preparations.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to assist decision-making and project performance monitoring.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately and in accordance with established processes and governance requirements.
- Monitor action items and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks across multiple workstreams.
- Provide administrative and operational support to project managers and functional area leads as required.
- Support event-time operations and coordination activities during event delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, event operations, sports events, venue operations, or related environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale events, sporting competitions, tournaments, or multi-stakeholder projects is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support reporting requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on sporting events, tournaments, international competitions, or major events.
- Exposure to event operations, venue management, workforce coordination, logistics, or stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and reporting frameworks.
- Professional certifications such as CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP, or equivalent are advantageous.
