About the Project Manager (Electrical) Role

King Salman International Airport is seeking a Project Manager (Electrical) to oversee electrical engineering projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and focuses on coordinating and managing the design and construction phases to ensure project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met. The role emphasizes safety, operational efficiency, and the timely delivery of high-quality facilities.

Project Oversight and Coordination

The Project Manager will be responsible for developing project charters and detailed plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, costs, and resources. This involves coordinating stakeholder engagement and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Progress, milestones, risks, and key metrics will be closely monitored. The role also includes managing on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to approved plans, schedules, budgets, and standards, as well as evaluating change requests and their impact on project parameters. A critical aspect is ensuring a smooth project handover, encompassing permits, documentation, and operational readiness.

Technical Electrical Engineering Management

Key technical responsibilities include reviewing and coordinating designs for power distribution, lighting, ELV, ICT, and airport-specific electrical systems. The Project Manager will monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of these electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards, and project specifications. Collaboration with contractors and consultants will be essential for resolving electrical design and construction issues. Furthermore, the role requires reviewing electrical technical submittals, calculations, and shop drawings.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures

The Project Manager is expected to follow all relevant company policies, processes, and standard operating procedures. This includes supporting the resolution of escalated issues and providing assistance as needed. Complex issues that require higher-level intervention will be escalated to the appropriate authority.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Experience in electrical systems and infrastructure is required. Specific knowledge areas include power distribution and lighting systems, testing and commissioning, and technical drawing review. Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills are also essential for this role.
