About the Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer Role
Reef Group is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for upholding the highest quality standards across our fragrance and cosmetics product lines. The role involves overseeing testing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with internal teams and external manufacturers to deliver safe and effective products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance and quality control processes for fragrance and cosmetic products.
- Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Ensure adherence to local, GCC, and international cosmetic regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to maintain consistency and specification compliance.
- Manage product stability and performance testing, and maintain quality documentation.
- Investigate product issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with product development, supply chain, and manufacturing partners to ensure product excellence.
- Support supplier quality evaluations, factory inspections, and audits as needed.
- Prepare quality reports and maintain documentation for regulatory and internal requirements.
- Travel regularly between factories, warehouses, and retail branches within and outside Riyadh as required by business needs.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within the perfumes, cosmetics, or personal care manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and GMP standards.
- Experience with inspections, audits, and compliance processes; Lead Auditor experience is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with GCC and international regulatory requirements for cosmetics and fragrances.
- Practical experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Essential Skills and Proficiencies
- Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently based on business requirements.
Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires regular travel within and outside the city to various company locations and manufacturing facilities.
