Quality Manager Catering & Pastry

About the Role

Al Rugaib Holding Company is seeking a Quality Manager Catering & Pastry to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time position requires an individual with 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance and control, specifically within the catering and pastry sectors. The role focuses on ensuring high standards of food safety and quality across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality and food safety.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Evaluate supplier quality to maintain high standards across the supply chain.
• Manage and maintain HACCP and other food safety systems.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports on quality assurance activities.
• Lead staff training initiatives on food safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control, with a preference for experience in catering, pastry, bakery, food service, or hospitality.
• Proven experience with HACCP and other food safety systems.
• Food Safety Manager certification (HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent) is required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of local food safety regulations and international food safety standards.
• Proficiency in sanitation protocols.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability in root-cause analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and staff training capabilities.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure, particularly during high-volume events.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Quality Manager will oversee quality control for catering and pastry operations. The role demands a proactive approach to maintaining food safety and quality standards in a dynamic environment.
