Reporting/Controls Manager

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Reporting/Controls Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves integrating various project aspects including engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up for small projects. The manager may also oversee a subtask within a larger project or study, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

The Reporting/Controls Manager will be responsible for the technical excellence of engineering functions, coordinating technical disciplines, managing material and equipment procurement, and assisting with construction planning. Specific duties include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Automating recurring project controls reports and performance metrics.
• Producing executive-level reports that highlight project status.
• Developing standardized Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for program and portfolio reporting.
• Analyzing progress trends and supporting earned value management (EVM) reporting and analysis.
• Providing forecasting support for projects.
• Transforming complex datasets into actionable insights for project leadership.
• Identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for performance improvement.
• Developing automated data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions.
• Utilizing technologies such as Python and SQL to streamline data processing and reporting workflows.
• Improving reporting efficiency through digital tools and innovative analytical techniques.
• Supporting digital transformation initiatives within Project Controls.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong background in data analytics and project controls. The required qualifications include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in project controls, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in developing Power BI dashboards and managing project performance reporting.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, or capital projects is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Relocation to project sites may be required during construction and start-up activities, depending on project needs.
