Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to maximize sales within your designated area by leveraging in-depth knowledge of the product range, top-selling items, and the local market and customer base. You will utilize IKEA's sales systems and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the efficient operation of the IKEA mechanical sales system, supporting the overall success of the IKEA Concept. This involves acting as an efficient sales mechanism, showcasing inspiring home furnishing solutions, serving as a knowledgeable home furnishing specialist, and contributing to a positive family shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions that exceed expectations.
• Effectively use various IKEA sales and communication channels to interact with diverse customers.
• Maintain the assigned area with high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, accurate pricing, and stock availability, adhering to IKEA basic merchandising standards.
• Demonstrate passion for IKEA products, continuously learn about their features and benefits, and share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
• Understand store and department action plans, taking responsibility for contributing to department goals.
• Promote all available IKEA store services to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
• Support the implementation of planned commercial activities within the department and across the store.
• Drive sales maximization and maintain profitability by focusing on and actively promoting top-selling and prioritized products.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or higher.
• Confident and clear communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of the local market.
• Possess the right attitude and behavior for active selling and assisting customers.
• Understanding of customer behavior.
• Familiarity with the IKEA product range, including service products.
