The Role of Sales Engineer

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer with specialized experience in landscaping services and a strong technical understanding of irrigation systems. This full-time role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, providing technical guidance, and managing client relationships within the Riyadh market.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across commercial, residential, and infrastructure landscape projects.
• Meet with clients, main contractors, and consultants to understand project requirements, offer value-engineering solutions, and conduct initial site consultations.
• Leverage knowledge of products such as booster pumps, filtration, fertigation, water meters, outdoor play, and fitness equipment to align scope requirements with the technical team.
• Build and maintain an active database of key decision-makers, including project managers, developers, and procurement leads, across target market segments.
• Lead price negotiations and finalize commercial terms within target margin thresholds.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3+ years of proven sales or business development experience within the landscaping and irrigation market.
• Strong understanding of landscape and technical irrigation systems, including pumping systems, fertigation, and filtration.
• Established relationships with general contractors, landscape consultants, project managers, and procurement managers.
• Ability to read basic landscape design drawings, irrigation schematics, and project specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales or business development within the landscaping and irrigation sector.
