About the Role

alfanar is seeking a highly capable Sales Manager - Brownfield to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to driving sales growth by leading planning, customer engagement, and revenue generation activities, ensuring strict alignment with company objectives, policies, and approved delivery capabilities.

Key Sales Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve defined revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities across assigned markets and customer segments.
  • Drive pipeline development, opportunity conversion, and foster recurring revenue growth.
  • Manage sales performance against budget, including revenue, margins, and profitability, initiating corrective actions to address any performance gaps.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies, prepare quotations, and lead commercial negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and key stakeholders, leading commercial discussions and contract clarifications.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment between sold scopes and execution capabilities, facilitating smooth handover of awarded contracts.
  • Participate in sales reviews, forecasting processes, and management reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales documentation, proposals, and contracts, and ensure sales orders are booked in line with company policies.
  • Support invoicing planning and commercial follow-up activities with finance teams.
  • Manage the lifecycle of customer agreements, including utilization tracking and renewals, and optimize contract value through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, providing input to improve sales processes, tools, and offerings.

Managerial and Operational Accountabilities

  • Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers, developing a robust second line of management.
  • Address low performance through guidance or necessary action, ensuring fair treatment and performance-based assessment of subordinates.
  • Take full responsibility for operations as per the job description and required deliverables, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Anticipate problems and implement proactive steps to prevent them, making timely and proper decisions.
  • Deliver required results in a timely manner, meeting specified quality and cost standards.
  • Translate corporate goals into actionable business plans, executing and monitoring their performance, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Provide periodic work progress reports and manage budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
  • Develop the organizational structure according to current and future requirements, ensuring job descriptions are available for all roles.
  • Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
  • Be conversant with and promote the full utilization of IT solutions relevant to the job and business.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales management, ideally within a brownfield context.
