About the Role
McGregor Boyall is seeking a Sales Manager with over 10 years of experience to join a leading automation systems integrator specializing in Building Automation Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and energy efficiency solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on driving business development within the region.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding the company's commercial footprint by developing new business opportunities, cultivating strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth across building automation, energy management, and smart building solutions. This is a proactive sales role requiring the ability to identify opportunities, engage key stakeholders, and manage the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting to contract finalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within commercial, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, education, and mixed-use developments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, MEP contractors, facility management companies, and end-users.
- Promote the company's offerings, including Building Automation Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), energy efficiency, and smart building solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to create customized customer solutions.
- Prepare commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to support business expansion.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.
- Liaise with project delivery teams to ensure successful project implementation and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of sales or business development experience specifically within Building Automation Systems (BMS), Building Management Systems, HVAC Controls, Energy Management Systems, Smart Buildings, or related automation technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully winning new business and consistently achieving sales targets.
- A strong understanding of building automation, controls, HVAC systems, and energy efficiency solutions.
- Established network within the Saudi Arabian market, including consultants, developers, contractors, and end-users.
- Excellent commercial acumen, with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Proficient communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- A valid Saudi Arabian driving license is preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
