About the Role

Mace, a company with expertise in construction and consultancy, is seeking a Senior Design Manager – Stadium to join its teams in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role contributes to the delivery of major sporting event assets, including the development of multiple stadiums. As a Senior Design Manager, you will manage the design process to align with business objectives and foster innovation and collaboration. The role aims to unlock potential within projects and redefine standards within the Saudi Arabian job market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of business plan outcomes.
• Oversee daily operations and act as the primary contact for all design-related matters.
• Present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and management review data to project and leadership teams.
• Support business development, work-winning activities, and training programs.
• Ensure adherence to governance and management systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Influence procurement strategies and contractual frameworks, driving process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) and stakeholders to ensure coordinated deliverables and technical excellence.
• Champion sustainability and net-zero carbon goals throughout project delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A degree qualification in a relevant subject is essential.
• A minimum of 12 years of postgraduate professional experience is essential.
• Experience in Stadium, Events, or Sports venue projects is essential.
• Chartered or professional membership is considered an advantage.
