About the Role

Leidos is seeking a Senior Executive Advisor to provide consultation to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, one-year assignment with the possibility of renewal, supporting a US Air Force Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.

Core Responsibilities

The Senior Executive Advisor will deliver superior consultation to the RSAF Commander and their staff on strategic decisions concerning RSAF Air & Space Operations. This includes preparing graduate-level papers, executive summaries, and briefings for senior leadership, as well as facilitating coordination with external agencies. The advisor will actively promote RSAF objectives, ensure relevant perspectives are articulated to the Commander, and prepare senior leadership team meetings. Responsibilities also include managing the Commander's information exchange, highlighting urgent inquiries, participating in ad-hoc projects, and staying informed on global military trends and innovations. The role requires acting as a role model and representative for the RSAF, adhering to all RSAF policies and procedures, and performing other duties as directed within the scope of the CETS Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA).

Key Duties and Strategic Support

Key duties involve providing advice on RSAF operational procedures and transformation initiatives, and preparing recommendations for aircraft retrofit, recapitalization, sustainment, and disposal. The advisor will proactively conduct in-depth analyses, prepare reports, studies, and briefings covering the full spectrum of RSAF Programs. Research and analysis of internal and external sources on topics related to the RSAF strategic agenda will be conducted to prepare input for the Commander.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree. A retired USAF Brigadier General or above (O-7) is strongly preferred. Retired USAF Colonels (O-6) with exceptional aviation experience and an international relations background will be considered. A graduate of senior-level Professional Military Education (PME) is required. Previous experience supporting senior leadership within the United States Air Force or US Joint Staff is necessary. Demonstrated knowledge of Air and Space combat operations, planning, communications, and training is essential. Experience in international acquisition practices, including arms control and high-tech equipment, is also required.

Work Context

This is a full-time assignment located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary range for this position is $139,*** - $251,****
