About the Role

Talent Blueprint FZ LLC is seeking a Senior Fan ID Database Manager for a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical for overseeing the Fan ID databases for a major international event, ensuring data integrity, security, performance, and operational readiness. The position involves managing sensitive personal information and ensuring seamless integration with various event-critical systems.

Role Overview

The Senior Fan ID Database Manager will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of the Fan ID database environment, from design and implementation through ongoing maintenance and decommissioning. This includes safeguarding data, maintaining high availability, and facilitating smooth data exchange with essential event systems such as ticketing, accreditation, access control, and government platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, administration, and ongoing maintenance of Fan ID database environments.
  • Ensure continuous availability, optimal performance, scalability, and robust security of databases throughout all event phases.
  • Manage data migration, synchronization, validation, cleansing, and quality assurance processes for Fan ID data.
  • Oversee integration and data exchange mechanisms between the Fan ID system and ticketing, accreditation, access control, and other event systems.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive database governance policies, including backup, recovery, retention, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Proactively monitor database performance, identify issues, and implement timely resolutions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, privacy, and information security regulations.
  • Coordinate with technology providers, government stakeholders, system integrators, and project teams.
  • Provide support for system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and operational readiness exercises.
  • Develop and implement reporting frameworks, dashboards, and data monitoring tools.
  • Manage database incidents, lead troubleshooting efforts, and handle technical escalations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, risk assessments, and post-event reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Database Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in database administration, management, enterprise systems, or large-scale technology environments.
  • Proven experience managing large volumes of sensitive personal data and mission-critical systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with system integrations, APIs, and data exchange platforms.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.

Technical Skills and Experience

  • Database Administration and Management
  • Enterprise Systems and Large-scale Technology Environments
  • Proficiency with enterprise database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent.
  • Database Security, Backup and Recovery, Replication, Performance Tuning, and Disaster Recovery.
  • System Integrations, APIs, and Data Exchange Platforms.
  • Experience with Fan ID Systems, Digital Identity, Accreditation Systems, Ticketing Systems, Access Management, and Customer Registration Systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Government Digital Identity Platforms is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (*, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, AWS, Azure) are highly desirable.

Contract Details and Preferred Experience

This is a contract position anticipated to run from July 1, 2026, to February 15, 2027. The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Preferred experience includes supporting major international events, sporting events, exhibitions, festivals, government programs, or other large-scale public initiatives. Prior work with Fan ID, digital identity, accreditation, ticketing, access management, large-scale customer registration systems, and government digital identity platforms is highly valued.
