About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Manager Logistics to lead the development, coordination, and implementation of construction logistics plans across an assigned district, portfolio, geographical area, or group of construction packages. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, and requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant fields. The Senior Manager Logistics will translate strategic requirements into coordinated delivery actions and implementation programs, overseeing logistics across multiple projects and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of the approved district construction logistics strategy.
  • Lead the preparation and updates of district, zone, and package-level logistics plans.
  • Oversee logistics across multiple projects, contractors, or work packages and allocate activities to Logistics Managers.
  • Lead detailed planning for construction access, haul routes, traffic management, and staging areas.
  • Coordinate contractor access requirements and resolve route or schedule conflicts.
  • Manage temporary roads, gates, parking, holding areas, and delivery-management requirements.
  • Ensure suitable segregation between construction, workforce, operational, and public movements.

Contractor and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Lead regular logistics coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review contractor logistics plans, traffic-management plans, and mobilisation proposals.
  • Coordinate interfaces with infrastructure, utilities, mobility, security, safety, and operational teams.
  • Track actions to closure, resolve day-to-day issues, and escalate significant risks or decisions.

Implementation, Risk, and Assurance

  • Monitor contractor compliance through inspections, reviews, and assurance activities.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and control changes to logistics arrangements.
  • Maintain the district logistics risk and constraint register.
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans for closures, activations, events, and phasing changes.

Operational Readiness and Team Management

  • Coordinate logistics supporting commissioning, asset activation, and phased handover.
  • Develop transition plans for areas moving from construction into testing or operation.
  • Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Manage and mentor Logistics Managers, support resource planning, and deputise for the District Logistics Director when required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics management, preferably within construction or large-scale project environments. The ability to translate strategic requirements into actionable plans and manage complex logistics operations across multiple interfaces is essential.
