We are seeking a Senior MEP Construction Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on delivering complex, high-value projects within the region.

Project Overview

The successful candidate will contribute to a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project. This initiative involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, requiring rapid delivery through a hands-on construction management approach. The role involves collaboration with renowned architects and global consultants, managing both main and sub-contract packages to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the delivery of mechanical and MEP construction works, ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality, programme, and project objectives.
• Manage the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems, ensuring all works align with project specifications and operational requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders, translating project objectives into effective delivery strategies.
• Drive the successful delivery of fast-track construction and fit-out packages, proactively managing risks, interfaces, and programme challenges.
• Champion a positive health, safety, well-being, and quality culture across all project activities.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Implement quality assurance processes, including inspections, audits, and performance reviews, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, handover, and project close-out activities to achieve operational readiness and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant NVQ or HNC (or equivalent).
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
• Managerial or professional CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme).

Essential Experience and Skills

• Proven experience, with a minimum of 5-10 years, managing the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical and MEP services on complex, fast-track projects, ensuring safe delivery, operational readiness, and compliance with project and client requirements.
• Experience delivering fit-out and technical infrastructure packages within mission-critical, industrial, utility, transportation, healthcare, data center, or similarly complex environments.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, installation methodologies, systems integration, testing and commissioning protocols, and phased handover strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, contractor coordination, programme recovery, and the use of digital project management and reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management practices, and industry best practice standards.
• Proven track record of delivering high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy or similar environment.
• Eligibility to meet Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visa requirements.
