Senior Operations Manager

About the Role

TGP International is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of its food and beverage venues across a multi-site portfolio. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves overseeing both TGP-owned and client-managed venues, ensuring consistent operating principles and standards. The Senior Operations Manager will report to the Operations Director and is responsible for revenue growth and operational delivery within delegated authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver revenue targets for assigned sites, identifying and implementing new income streams and improving trading performance.
• Lead day-to-day operations across the portfolio, holding General Managers and Operations Managers accountable for performance, standards, and compliance.
• Ensure sites operate within approved budgets, labour models, menus, pricing structures, and marketing plans.
• Review and approve operating plans, labour schedules, ordering, and stock counts prepared by venue teams.
• Manage financial controls, including P&L targets, cost control for food, beverage, and labour, and approval of operating expenditure within authority.
• Act as the primary operational contact for venue owners, clients, landlords, and third-party operators.
• Ensure consistent application of TGP Operations Manual, policies, and procedures across all sites, maintaining high standards for guest experience.
• Oversee health and safety, compliance, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to regulations and timely resolution of issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop venue management teams, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
• Provide operational and commercial input for new openings and site mobilisations, ensuring readiness and post-opening stabilisation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in hospitality management, culinary arts, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• A minimum of 7 years in the food services industry, with at least 3 years in a multi-site role (*, Area Manager, Cluster Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Operations Manager).
• Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple venues and achieving budgeted sales, cost, and profit targets through site management teams.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, including like-for-like sales improvement, increased spend per head, or successful new income stream rollouts.
• Experience working with third-party owners, landlords, or clients alongside directly operated venues.
• Experience with new openings and mobilisation, from pre-opening to post-opening stabilisation.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Commercial creativity and strong revenue/margin instincts, including menu engineering, pricing, promotions, and yield management.
• Ability to interpret and challenge financial reports (P&L, cost control, labour reports).
• Strong leadership capabilities to motivate and develop teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues, employees, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Sound business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making under pressure.
• Understanding of client agreements and operating obligations, with good judgment for escalation.
• Proficiency in multi-site planning, prioritisation, and time management.
• Knowledge of food and beverage products, brand cuisine, service standards, and restaurant marketing.
• Familiarity with EPOS and hospitality systems, as well as productivity and financial software.
• Recruitment, training, coaching, development, and disciplinary skills, along with working knowledge of labour law in relevant markets.
• Attention to detail, high standards, and the ability to work under pressure and travel frequently.

Work Environment and Travel

This role requires regular travel between venue and project locations, with regional and international travel as needed. The Senior Operations Manager will maintain a published site visit schedule and exercise portfolio oversight in person on site, not solely through reporting. The position is full-time and based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
