About the Role at eSense
eSense is seeking a Senior People and Culture Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position specifically for a Saudi National, requiring 5-10 years of experience. The role is central to driving strategic human resources initiatives and fostering a robust company culture across the organization.
Strategic People and Culture Leadership
The Senior People and Culture Officer will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives and enhancing the employee experience. This position involves leading efforts to attract and retain top IT talent, shaping organizational values, and ensuring cultural cohesion between the Riyadh and Jordan branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic HR initiatives that align with company culture and business goals.
- Lead employer branding efforts to attract top IT talent within the region.
- Create and improve policies focused on employee wellbeing and retention.
- Serve as a culture ambassador, actively shaping and reinforcing the company’s values.
- Design and evaluate employee recognition and reward programs.
- Advise management on organizational development and culture-related challenges.
- Oversee talent development frameworks, including mentorship, succession planning, and leadership programs.
- Lead cross-office cultural alignment initiatives between the Riyadh and Jordan branches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles focused on culture.
- Deep knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Demonstrated strategic thinking combined with a hands-on ability to implement programs and policies.
- Proven success in leading culture transformation or employee engagement strategies.
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence across various functions and regions.
- Experience in the IT or tech industry is preferred, along with exposure to multicultural teams.
- HR certification (such as CIPD, SHRM, or PHRi) is considered an advantage.
