About the Role

Omega Talent is recruiting for a Senior Planning Manager to join an international engineering and construction organisation. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading all project planning and scheduling activities from pre-construction through to project completion. The role offers an opportunity to work on complex and technically demanding projects within a high-performing project delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all project planning and scheduling activities from pre-construction through to project completion.
• Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules across multiple disciplines.
• Implement and manage Earned Value Management (EVM) processes to monitor project performance, progress, and forecast outcomes.
• Provide schedule analysis, critical path assessments, and recovery plans where required.
• Produce accurate progress reports and present project performance to senior leadership and clients.
• Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure programme alignment.
• Identify schedule risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery.
• Mentor and develop planning teams while driving planning best practice across projects.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project planning and management within the construction sector. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in delivering complex projects.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-10 years of proven experience as a Senior Planning Manager or Planning Manager.
• Demonstrated experience on complex, multidisciplinary building projects.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working for a recognised main contractor is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or other technically complex construction projects would be advantageous.
