Role Context and Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. This role requires a proactive approach to managing project lifecycles from planning through to completion, with a strong emphasis on effective communication and resource allocation.

• Define and clarify project scope, establish realistic timelines, and set budgets.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations with clients and internal team members.
• Monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to plans to ensure successful outcomes.
• Lead and motivate design teams, assigning tasks and providing clear guidance.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders, managing expectations and addressing concerns promptly.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, and budgets for design initiatives.
• Oversee the quality of design deliverables, ensuring adherence to established standards.
• Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Track project expenses and ensure strict adherence to budget guidelines.
• Implement strategies for cost management and control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed cost forecasts and budget reports, analyzing variances and identifying trends.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between design teams, marketing, product development, and external agencies to streamline workflows.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using project management software.
• Manage scope changes and potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in project management within a relevant field.

• Bachelor’s degree in design, engineering, project management, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management.
• Proven experience in project management within a design or creative environment.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
• PMP certification is preferred.
