About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Radiation Therapist to join its full-time team. This role involves organizing and assisting with all activities within the assigned section, ensuring the highest professional and clinical standards are consistently met in accordance with departmental procedures and policies. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with Physicians, Medical Physicists, Supervisors, Head Nurse, and other Radiation Therapists to effectively schedule patients.
• Demonstrate a higher level of proficiency in treating or imaging a specialist workload of patients.
• Maintain all relevant patient documents and e-charting records accurately.
• Rotate between various areas as an experienced practitioner, adapting to diverse operational needs.

Operational Standards and Resource Management

• Maintain all necessary supplies and materials required for daily operations.
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that safety standards are consistently upheld.
• Optimize the utilization of equipment and maximize the efficient use of available resources.
• Evaluate quality assurance and quality control data, maintaining all required records diligently.
• Assist with the departmental and Hospital Performance Improvement (PI) Plan initiatives.

Collaboration and Professional Development

• Maintain effective and efficient communication channels among staff within and outside the Department.
• Enhance professional growth and development through continuous education and learning opportunities.
• Assist with the training and orientation processes for new employees joining the team.
• Participate in departmental projects or teaching sessions as required.
• Contribute to self and others’ education, training, and development as applicable.

Compliance and General Duties

The Senior Radiation Therapist is expected to adhere strictly to all Hospital-related Policies and Procedures. This role also involves performing other related duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall operational efficiency and patient care quality at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre.
