About the Role

Carrier, a global leader in HVAC, refrigeration, and cold chain solutions, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for its operations in Riyadh. This permanent position involves driving sales strategies, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market share within the Residential & Light Commercial (RLC) sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Drive new business development initiatives and expand existing client accounts.
  • Manage the direct sales process for Residential & Light Commercial HVAC products, including DX AHUs, Condensing Units, Rooftop Units, and Ducted & Split Systems.
  • Support the successful execution of large and complex projects from initial opportunity identification through to final delivery.
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities to increase the company's market share.
  • Follow up on quotations, understand specific project requirements, and propose suitable solutions with support from application engineering.
  • Prepare, review, and submit technical proposals, submittals, and contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, and payment terms in accordance with company financial policies.
  • Coordinate with factories regarding pricing, equipment availability, order placement, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor competitor activities, gather market intelligence, and generate new sales leads.
  • Actively participate in monthly sales review meetings.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and maintain consistent communication.
  • Manage the complete order-to-delivery cycle, including invoicing and payment follow-up.
  • Ensure accurate factory ordering and timely project execution.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of sales experience specifically in Unitary Products, including DX AHUs, Condensing Units, Rooftop Units, and Ducted & Split Systems.
  • A strong track record of sales success within the Saudi market is essential.
  • Experience within the Riyadh Region is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
