Role Overview

El Seif Engineering Contracting is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience and involves managing a section of a construction project, providing technical advice, and supervising work crews and subcontractors on site. The primary objective is to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of KSA national employees to achieve corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and knowledge dissemination.
• Provide inputs to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure.
• Manage and conduct team affairs in accordance with standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and adopt company values across all functions, providing leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
• Manage the adoption and utilization of systems and ERP within the team.
• Supervise day-to-day responsibilities of the Section team in accordance with project plans, company policies and procedures, and approved budget.
• Oversee related equipment operations at site and manage effective utilization.
• Assist the Construction Manager in preparing any variation orders for the scope of works resulting from design or shop drawings approval by the consultant or instructions from the client.
• Follow up with the project consultant for approval on design, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Report to the Construction Manager on the operational and financial status of the site section of the project under responsibility.
• Monitor labor availability and calculate daily productivity to support project execution within budget and schedule.
• Follow up on delivery and close out of the project section in accordance with contractual arrangements and financial outcomes based on agreed financial and commercial objectives.
• Prepare and present weekly section summary reports for the Construction Manager.
• Assist the Construction Manager in implementing directions to achieve high satisfaction and a constructive relationship with clients.
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to establish detailed project plans which identify key milestones and deliverables.
• Ensure health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed.
• Oversee the implementation of approved shop drawings as per specifications and standards.
• Support the Construction Manager in the preparation of all Inspection Requests by Consultant’s engineers.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Optimize team and resource productivity to meet all targets on time and within budget.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with approved project plans.
• Maintain full awareness of the company’s QHSE plan’s implementation on site.
• Prepare the Daily site report and fill all forms related to the section.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in site engineering roles.
• Proven ability to manage sections of construction projects effectively.
• Experience in supervising work crews and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of project plans, company policies, and budget management.
