Role Overview: Senior Specialist, Full Potential Identification

The Senior Specialist, Full Potential Identification is responsible for identifying, validating, and accelerating performance improvement opportunities across Ma'aden’s assets. This role focuses on enabling business units to achieve their full potential through structured diagnostics, value-based prioritization, and data-driven performance optimization. The position combines operational expertise with analytical insight and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance throughput, reliability, recovery, cost efficiency, energy performance, safety, and sustainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational diagnostics to identify high-value opportunities in production, reliability, cost, recovery, energy, safety, and overall operational performance.
• Quantify improvement potential through data-driven analysis, benchmarking, and structured assessment methodologies.
• Develop robust value cases to support prioritization and informed decision-making.
• Drive measurable business outcomes by monitoring improvement initiatives and value realization plans.
• Identify risks, performance gaps, and value leakage factors, implementing corrective actions to maximize benefits.
• Strengthen accountability through transparent performance tracking and reporting mechanisms.
• Leverage operational data, performance indicators, and analytical insights to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Translate operational challenges into practical process, technology, automation, and digital improvement initiatives.
• Improve decision quality through fact-based insights and performance intelligence.
• Facilitate collaboration between operations, maintenance, finance, technical, digital, and data teams to accelerate improvement outcomes.
• Coach teams on performance management, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and value tracking practices.
• Build ownership and accountability to sustain improvements and replicate successful practices across assets.
• Maintain visibility of opportunity pipelines, implementation progress, realized value, risks, and lessons learned.
• Enhance methodologies, maturity assessment frameworks, KPI standards, and value realization processes.
• Strengthen governance mechanisms to improve consistency, transparency, and effectiveness of improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 6-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires a strong background in operational excellence and analytics, with the ability to translate improvement opportunities into measurable business impact and sustained value realization. Experience in building performance management discipline and fostering cross-functional collaboration is essential.
