About the Role

The Senior Specialist - Technology Procurement role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and is a full-time position. This role is responsible for managing the procurement of technology products and services to support the organization's objective of developing a world-class entertainment, cultural, and lifestyle destination. The position involves close collaboration across various departments to ensure technology procurement aligns with organizational goals and delivers optimal value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of technology procurement, including sourcing, vendor assessment, negotiation, contract finalization, and purchase order processing.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with technology suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging technology trends and inform procurement strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to all procurement policies, procedures, and relevant local regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as IT, project management, finance, and legal to align procurement activities with organizational needs.
  • Prepare all necessary procurement documentation and reports, maintaining accurate and current records.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements within the technology procurement function.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in technology procurement or comparable supply chain roles is necessary.
  • Proficiency in procurement processes, contract management, and vendor negotiation is essential.
  • Experience utilizing procurement software such as SAP, Ariba, or similar platforms is expected.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • An understanding of the Saudi Arabian business environment and local market practices is preferred.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are vital for this role.
  • The ability to analyze market trends and implement effective, cost-efficient procurement strategies is required.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is considered advantageous.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments across the organization.
