About the Smart Home Sales Engineer Role
SSC HR Solutions is seeking a Smart Home Sales Engineer for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role focuses on driving sales and business development within the smart home and smart building sectors across the Saudi market. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical understanding and strong sales acumen to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for smart home and smart building projects.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with real estate developers, consultants, and contractors in the Saudi market.
- Manage project lifecycles from the design stage through tendering, execution, and completion.
- Prepare tailored technical and commercial proposals based on client requirements.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and business objectives.
- Coordinate with technical and engineering teams for proper project implementation.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging smart home technologies.
- Identify potential projects and convert opportunities into successful sales.
Required Experience and Technical Knowledge
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Smart Home Solutions or Low Current Systems. Proven experience in B2B project sales within the smart home or smart building industry is essential, with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the following technologies are required:
- KNX (Certification is preferred)
- Zigbee
- Z-Wave
- WiFi Smart Home Systems
- Matter Protocol
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
Sales and Business Development Skills
The role requires established relationships with real estate developers, consulting firms, and contractors in Saudi Arabia. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to generate projects and convert business relationships into actual sales opportunities. Strong negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing skills are crucial, alongside excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. The capacity to understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) is also necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include KNX Certification or significant hands-on KNX implementation experience. A strong network within the Saudi real estate and construction sectors is highly advantageous. Experience working on large-scale smart home and smart building projects is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves active engagement with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
