About the Opportunity

CoorB is seeking a Solution Enterprise Architect to lead the technology workstream for a significant digital transformation initiative. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supports a top-5 Saudi Arabian retail bank, one of the largest Sharia-compliant banks in the region. The project focuses on digitizing the customer acquisition journey for the bank's Murabaha Revolving Credit Card (MRCC) product. The Solution Enterprise Architect will be the single point of accountability for all technical deliverables, operating as a discovery and assessment consultant for a 12-week engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Technology workstream end-to-end, serving as the single point of accountability for all technical deliverables.
• Lead the 5-week current-state assessment, including application, data, API/integration, and automation/STP architecture review.
• Direct the 7-week target-state design, producing architectural blueprints, gap analyses, and a prioritized implementation roadmap.
• Operate at an executive level, engaging with CIOs, Heads of Digital, Heads of Architecture, and technology platform owners.
• Reconcile non-functional requirements in initial technical scoping sessions.
• Manage the go/no-go gate between assessment and design phases, including platform-owner access for the Newgen orchestration layer.
• Direct the Integration/API Architect and coordinate effectively with the Digital Journey workstream.

Required Experience and Skills

• Senior Consulting Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading consulting engagements of comparable scope (12 weeks or longer, multi-disciplinary teams of three to four) for retail banking clients, producing client-ready deliverables independently to a consulting-grade standard.
• Retail Banking Architecture: Prior experience leading an enterprise or channel architecture assessment in retail banking, specifically in areas such as credit cards, retail loans, account opening, or mortgages. Card origination experience is preferred.
• Traditional Enterprise Architecture Stacks: Working knowledge of enterprise integration platforms (ESB, SOAP/XML services), BPM workflow engines, API gateways, on-premise middleware, and core banking systems. Ability to objectively assess such environments based on architectural merit.

Preferred Qualifications

• Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with one or more of Newgen BPM, Temenos T24, IBM DataPower, or IBM WebSphere ESB.
• Credit Card Origination: Direct experience auditing or designing a credit card acquisition or origination architecture.
• Islamic Banking Products: Working understanding of Murabaha and Tawarruq structures, particularly the Sharia-specific commodity buy-sell step within the MRCC flow.
• KSA National Digital Rails: Familiarity with Nafath, Absher, SIMAH, ZATCA, SANAD, GOSI, Wathq, and common bank integration patterns in Saudi Arabia.
• Straight-Through Processing (STP): Prior work on STP frameworks for retail banking acquisition or transaction processing.

Engagement Details

This role requires a full-time onsite presence in Saudi Arabia for the entire 12-week duration of the engagement. Remote or hybrid arrangements will not be considered. Candidates must confirm visa eligibility and travel availability prior to interview.
