About the Role

Talent Blueprint FZ LLC is seeking an experienced Spectator Services Venue Manager for a contract role in Riyadh. This position is integral to the planning, coordination, and delivery of world-class spectator services for a major international football event. The successful candidate will ensure an exceptional fan experience from arrival to departure, upholding high standards of safety, operational excellence, and customer service.

Role Context and Responsibilities

This role requires a highly organized venue operations professional with a proven track record in managing spectator services for large-scale sporting events, stadiums, arenas, or major entertainment venues. The Spectator Services Venue Manager will lead all spectator services operations throughout the event lifecycle, from planning and readiness to event delivery and post-event activities. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational plans aligned with venue objectives and international event standards, and managing all spectator-facing functions.

  • Overseeing information points, customer service desks, and wayfinding/signage.
  • Managing accessibility services, Lost & Found, and family/child reunification procedures.
  • Implementing queue management and guest assistance protocols.
  • Coordinating with Venue Operations, Security, Safety, Medical, Accreditation, Transport, Volunteers, Hospitality, Ticketing, Broadcasting, and Cleaning teams for seamless operations.
  • Supervising, training, and motivating a large workforce including supervisors, coordinators, volunteers, and temporary staff.
  • Ensuring all spectator services areas are operational before gate opening and maintained throughout the event.
  • Monitoring crowd movement, spectator behavior, service levels, and operational performance to proactively address issues.
  • Professionally handling spectator complaints, escalations, and VIP customer concerns.
  • Conducting venue inspections, operational readiness checks, and event-day briefings.
  • Ensuring compliance with venue policies, health & safety regulations, accessibility requirements, and emergency procedures.
  • Preparing operational reports, incident reports, and post-event evaluations.
  • Participating in venue rehearsals, test events, tabletop exercises, and operational planning meetings.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in spectator services, venue operations, stadium management, or major event operations is required. Proven experience managing spectator operations at international football tournaments, major sporting events, stadiums, arenas, multi-sport events, or large-scale entertainment events with attendance exceeding 20,000 spectators is essential. Demonstrated experience leading large operational teams, including paid staff, contractors, and volunteers, is also necessary.

  • Strong understanding of crowd management principles and guest experience delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure event environment.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in international events organized by governing bodies or major organizing committees will be highly regarded. This includes experience in international football competitions, continental championships, FIFA or confederation tournaments, Olympic or multi-sport events, Formula 1 or international motorsport events, large-scale concerts and entertainment festivals, and major stadium or arena operations.

This is a contract position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a dynamic event environment, requiring flexibility and the ability to manage operations across various event phases.
