About the Trainee Role

AMAD Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Speech & Swallowing Tamheer Trainee for a full-time position. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are eligible for the Tamheer On-the-Job Training Program. The trainee will support the Speech & Swallowing Department, gaining practical experience in clinical and administrative activities under professional supervision.

Role Summary

The Tamheer Trainee will contribute to the daily operations of the Speech & Swallowing Department. This involves assisting with patient care, preparing for therapy sessions, managing documentation, and coordinating departmental activities. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills within a professional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech & Swallowing team in preparing for patient assessments and therapy sessions.
• Support speech-language pathologists in organizing therapy materials and treatment activities under supervision.
• Assist with patient documentation, appointment coordination, and maintaining departmental records.
• Adhere to patient confidentiality, infection-control procedures, and hospital safety policies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and perform other assigned duties within the trainee's knowledge and abilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences, or a related field, as per employer requirements.
• Eligibility for the Tamheer On-the-Job Training Program under applicable HRDF requirements.
• 0-1 years of experience.
