The Role of Sr. Solutions Architect

As a Sr. Solutions Architect at Databricks, you will apply your technical expertise to demonstrate how the Data & Intelligence Platform addresses complex data challenges for customers. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of experience. You will collaborate with a customer-focused team, developing customized solutions to help clients achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish successful relationships with enterprise clients across Saudi Arabia, delivering technical and business value in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Serve as an expert in big data analytics, guiding customers on architecture, design, and implementation to ensure successful adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
• Contribute to the Databricks community in the region by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
• Advance personal knowledge and expertise to become a technical and/or industry specialist.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, including engaging customers, addressing technical questions, and communicating value propositions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and build internal partnerships with account executives and teams.
• Prior experience with coding in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, with a willingness to learn Spark fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies, including hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Experience in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to diverse audiences, requiring adaptability in technical depth.

This role involves working within a collaborative, customer-focused team that values innovation. The position is full-time and based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
