Job Summary:
As a Sterilization Technician, you will be responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and supplies within our healthcare facilities. Your role is vital in maintaining the safety and quality of the instruments used in patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Receive and perform initial decontamination of soiled surgical instruments and medical equipment.
  • Operate cleaning and disinfection equipment to ensure proper sanitization of medical devices.
  • Inspect cleaned instruments for damage and report issues for repair.
  • Assemble surgical trays and instrument sets as per protocols.
  • Prepare instruments for sterilization using appropriate methods.
  • Operate sterilizers and monitor cycles to ensure effective sterilization.
  • Package sterilized items appropriately to maintain sterility.
  • Store sterilized items and maintain inventory control.
  • Document sterilization process parameters and testing outcomes.
  • Perform maintenance and checks on sterilization equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records in CSSD documentation systems.
  • Follow requisition protocols for consumables.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Education / Professional Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a CSSD Technology Diploma from a recognized institution and have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. A valid license from the Saudi Council for Health Specialists is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Management: Full ownership of Qiwa, GOSI, Mudad, and Muqeem.

  • Contracting: Drafting, uploading, and managing digital employment contracts via Qiwa.

  • Compliance: Ensuring the Wages Protection System (WPS) via Mudad is compliant and resolving any "justification" flags.
