About the Stock Control & WMS Leader Role

Aljeel Medical is seeking a Stock Control & WMS Leader to ensure the integrity of inventory records across all warehouse locations in Riyadh and Jeddah. This full-time position is critical for maintaining stock availability, managing expiry dates, and optimizing order fulfillment performance. The role also involves a key part in the implementation of Oracle WMS, serving as the functional lead for inventory and stock control processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end inventory accuracy across all warehouse locations.
  • Maintain perpetual inventory accuracy through structured cycle count programs.
  • Reconcile system records with physical stock and investigate all variances to their root cause.
  • Reduce recurring adjustments, shrinkage, and unexplained discrepancies.
  • Ensure strong control over inventory movements, adjustments, and write-offs.
  • Enforce FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles and maintain lot-level traceability.
  • Monitor expiry and near-expiry inventory for early identification and corrective action.
  • Minimize expired and obsolete stock exposure.
  • Act as the inventory functional lead for Oracle WMS implementation, owning inventory master data structure and warehouse configuration.
  • Define and support slotting, bin logic, and inventory structure design.
  • Lead testing and validation (UAT) for inventory-related processes before system go-live.
  • Ensure accurate setup and execution of cycle count and adjustment workflows in the system.
  • Support data migration, system readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Develop and standardize Stock Control SOPs across all warehouse locations.
  • Drive compliance with inventory governance standards and internal controls.
  • Produce accurate inventory aging, slow-moving, and excess stock reports.
  • Provide actionable insights to support planning and procurement decisions.
  • Build, lead, and develop stock control teams, setting performance standards for accuracy and operational discipline.
  • Provide training and coaching on inventory control processes and system usage.
  • Ensure inventory records are audit-ready at all times and maintain full traceability.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections related to inventory control.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in inventory or stock control within a distribution business.
  • Experience in medical devices, pharma, or another regulated, expiry- and lot-sensitive environment is preferred.
  • Hands-on Oracle WMS deployment experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of running cycle count programs and resolving book-to-physical variances.
