About the Role
Alfanar is seeking a Studies & Reporting Manager to lead and integrate data governance, reporting, and strategic studies. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role is crucial for ensuring high-quality data, aligned reporting, and actionable insights to support decision-making and drive organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
The Studies & Reporting Manager will be responsible for a range of critical functions:
- Data Governance, Collection & Platforms: Define and standardize data collection methods, oversee data platforms and reporting systems, establish data governance frameworks and quality standards, supervise the development of data collection tools, and ensure alignment between data sources, reporting needs, and analytical requirements.
- Reporting Development & Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain standardized reports and dashboards, consolidate reporting outputs, monitor performance indicators, identify deviations, and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reporting.
- Studies, Investment Analysis & Strategic Evaluation: Conduct and oversee studies related to investments and strategic initiatives, review feasibility studies, perform benchmarking, evaluate business cases, and assess the strategic impact of initiatives.
- Performance Analysis & Decision Support: Analyze performance data to identify trends and gaps, translate data into actionable insights, prepare consolidated reports for executive management, and support evidence-based decision-making across business units.
- Stakeholder Coordination & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with KPI owners and business units, ensure effective communication, provide guidance on data usage and interpretation, and identify opportunities to improve reporting systems and analytical processes.

- HR Proficiency: Cultivating high performers, managing underperformers, ensuring equal treatment, and basing assessment criteria on performance leading to planned results.
- Responsibility: Taking full responsibility for operations as per the job description, anticipating problems, and making timely decisions.
- Delivery: Delivering required results in a timely manner with the required quality and cost, and making a tangible difference to the area of operation.
- Business Planning and Performance: Transforming corporate goals into business plans, executing and monitoring these plans, and managing budgets and expenses for cost efficiency.
- Organizational Development: Developing organizational structure and ensuring availability of job descriptions.
- Business Process Improvements: Developing and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures, and promoting the use of automated systems.
- Quality: Upholding Alfanar's prime competitive advantage in quality.
- Adaptation: Adapting to new techniques, technologies, and business models.
- Health, Safety and Environment: Ensuring a safe, secure, and legal work environment.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in data governance, reporting, and strategic studies.
- Demonstrated ability in performance analysis and decision support.
- Experience in managing teams and developing talent.
- Familiarity with IT solutions relevant to the role.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role requires a proactive approach to business process improvements and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the work environment.
