About the Engineering Supervisor Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee and manage the hotel's engineering operations. This full-time position requires a candidate with 5-10 years of relevant experience to ensure the efficient and safe functioning of all hotel facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
• Recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment as needed.
• Calibrate all controls, gauges, and meters.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies, maintaining an inventory and purchase orders log.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines to ensure proper working order.
• Enter and retrieve work-related information using computers.
• Operate power lifts.
• Complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist in the development of disaster response protocols.
• Respond to and attend to guest repair requests promptly.
• Assist management with employee hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Support the team to reach common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Perform physical tasks including reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of related work experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
