About the Role
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor-Human Resources for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role involves supporting the Human Resources department in various employee relations and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
The Supervisor-Human Resources will assist in monitoring and tracking employee relations issues, ensuring their resolution and follow-up. This includes supporting management and the leadership team in handling and resolving Human Resources matters. The role also requires monitoring all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards. Informing Human Resources management of any employee relations issues is a key duty. Additionally, the position involves responding to employee and management inquiries regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines, and disseminating relevant information to employees concerning employer-employee relations, employee activities, and personnel policies.
Employee Record Management and Support
A significant aspect of this role involves reviewing and ensuring the accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, such as interview documents and I-9 forms. The Supervisor-Human Resources will also assist with the logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys. This includes managing phone calls and recording messages as needed.
Assisting Management and Team Collaboration
This position supports management in various human resources functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and supporting team goals through effective listening and appropriate responses to employee concerns are essential. Adherence to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents and unsafe working conditions, is mandatory. The role requires maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information.
General Duties and Requirements
The Supervisor-Human Resources will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. This includes welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, speaking with others using clear and professional language, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette. The role requires entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role. A professional demeanor, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are required.
