About the Role
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor-Human Resources for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role involves supporting the Human Resources department in various employee relations and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
The Supervisor-Human Resources will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring and tracking of employee relations issues, ensuring their resolution and follow-up. This includes supporting management and the leadership team in addressing Human Resources matters.
- Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards.
- Inform Human Resources management of any issues related to employee relations.
- Respond to inquiries, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Disseminate information to employees concerning employer-employee relations, employee activities, and personnel policies and programs.
- Review and ensure the accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Assist with the logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys.
- Answer phone calls and record messages accurately.
Supporting Management and Employees
This role requires assisting management with various employee lifecycle activities, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching. Maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and supporting team goals is essential.
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Operational Duties
The position involves adherence to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols. Additionally, the role requires basic computer proficiency for data entry and information retrieval, as well as the ability to handle minor physical tasks.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role are expected to have between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. A professional demeanor and strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with employees and management.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires adherence to company standards, including welcoming and acknowledging guests according to established procedures.
