About the Role

Gulf Center for Geophysical Consulting is seeking an experienced System & Automation Specialist to join its Logistics and Exploration Operations team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on leading digital reporting, analytics, and automation initiatives across various operational areas within the company.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will drive digital transformation within logistics, camp operations, fleet management, inventory control, and support services. This includes developing management dashboards, implementing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, and automating business processes. The specialist will be responsible for delivering accurate, data-driven insights that enhance operational performance and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and KPI reports using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and presentations.
• Develop structured databases and reporting models to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Lead the administration and optimization of Microsoft Power Platform solutions and digital reporting systems.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows, approvals, reporting cycles, and operational processes.
• Establish KPI frameworks, monitor performance trends, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with operational teams to validate reporting accuracy and ensure timely submission of management information.
• Deliver user training, prepare system documentation, SOPs, and user guides for digital platforms.
• Support digital transformation initiatives while maintaining data governance, confidentiality, and audit readiness.
• Perform additional reporting, automation, and systems support activities as required.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in system automation, digital reporting, and data analytics. Essential skills include proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, alongside strong capabilities in SharePoint and advanced Microsoft Excel. The role requires a professional capable of developing robust reporting models and leading digital initiatives.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The System & Automation Specialist will be an integral part of the Logistics and Exploration Operations team, contributing directly to critical operational efficiencies and data management.
