About the Role

Noon - Education for Everyone is establishing a new American high school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is seeking Teachers for Mathematics and Physics. This role involves contributing to the foundational development of an academic program, with a focus on designing rigorous, engaging, and technology-enabled curricula. The position is part of an innovative, hybrid learning model that integrates remote educators, in-class facilitators, and technology-enhanced learning experiences.

This position requires teaching grades 9 and 10 Mathematics and Physics. It is not a traditional teaching role, but rather an opportunity to actively shape and deliver a modern educational approach. The role may be conducted remotely, with no relocation required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging grades 9 and 10 Physics and Mathematics classes, aligned with the established curriculum and learning outcomes, commencing in August.
  • Continuously design, adapt, and enhance lesson plans and teaching materials to optimize student learning.
  • Utilize educational technology (EdTech) and digital tools effectively to foster student engagement, provide differentiated instruction, and encourage active participation.
  • Collaborate with the broader academic team to refine curriculum content, delivery methodologies, and overall student learning journeys.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics & Physics curriculum that aligns with Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) at American high schools.
  • Proven experience in designing and/or delivering Mathematics & Physics curriculum for students for whom English may be a second language.
  • Possession of a recognized teaching qualification, such as a BA/MA in the subject area, TESOL, or CELTA.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience.
  • Availability to work full-time, Sunday to Thursday (GMT +3), with potential flexibility for a half-day Sunday morning and half-day Friday if preferred over a full Sunday.
  • Experience in teaching online groups of 5 or more students.
  • Must be a native English speaker from an English-speaking country (*, USA, UK, South Africa, Australia).
  • Must possess reliable internet connectivity and a professional video setup for remote instruction.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in teaching Mathematics & Physics curriculum aligned with CCSS and NGSS standards.
  • Proficiency in designing and/or delivering Mathematics & Physics curriculum for students with English as a second language.
  • Experience in teaching online groups of 5+ students.
  • Familiarity with AI or emerging EdTech tools and resources in teaching is highly advantageous.

This role is part of Noon Academy, a leading edtech platform in the Middle East serving over 14 million students and teachers. The company aims to transform the physical classroom experience through engaging social, group-based learning and AI-driven tools. The role may be conducted remotely or in a hybrid capacity if the individual is based within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The specified region for this initiative is the Riyadh Region, with the city being Riyadh. The work type is full-time.
