About the Role

Saudi Airlines Catering Company is seeking a dedicated Technician, Facility - Equipment to join its team in Riyadh. This permanent role is crucial for maintaining electro-mechanical equipment within the company's Food Production and Operation facilities, ensuring seamless 24-hour operations. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead equipment mechanics and electricians in the maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment such as Conveyor Belts, Ovens, Dishwashing Machines, and Tilting Boiling Pans.
• Closely monitor equipment and system serviceability to ensure continuous 24-hour operations and report status to the Supervisor.
• Observe and adhere to personal and industrial safety practices in workshops and working areas, utilizing proper signs and barriers.
• Attend technical and other relevant meetings to maintain open lines of communication regarding work and enforced systems.
• Respond to high-priority jobs, especially for critical equipment or systems, and assist other sections as required.
• Submit daily reports detailing achievements.
• Diagnose faults on all mechanical and electrical systems and perform necessary repairs or rectifications.
• Receive and collect Work Orders, assisting the Supervisor in planning and scheduling tasks.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor for action plans requiring higher-level decisions.
• Ensure proper utilization of tools and workshop equipment, particularly for electrical control boards.
• Arrange transport for equipment to the workshop for major repairs, or if on-site repair would hinder production.
• Encourage cost consciousness by cross-utilizing usable parts and materials.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, in accordance with Saudi Labor Law regulations.

Operational Compliance and Safety

The role requires strict adherence to company policies and operational guidelines to ensure a secure and efficient working environment. This includes:

• Adhering to Cybersecurity policies and procedures, and dealing with data and information according to their classification level.
• Avoiding violations of intellectual property rights (copyrights, patents, or similar laws).
• Complying with Cybersecurity requirements for user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email.
• Adhering to the acceptable use policy and utilizing SACC information and technical assets solely for business purposes.
• Obtaining required permits from the security department or authority owner before hosting visitors in sensitive company sites.
• Reporting Cybersecurity incidents.
• Authorized access to Technical Store records and withdrawal of spare parts.
• Using and operating company and Technical Department designated vehicles for off-site call-outs.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position must have 2 to 5 years of proven experience in maintaining electro-mechanical equipment, preferably within a food production or similar operational environment. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, fault diagnosis, and repair is essential.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position based in Riyadh, requiring active participation in a 24-hour operational setting. The role involves working closely with a team of mechanics and electricians, ensuring critical equipment functionality to support continuous production.
