About the Role

Napco National is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position for an individual with 0-1 years of experience, focused on ensuring the operational efficiency of machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and execute repair requests from the Maintenance Team Leader, following Work Instructions and Machine Manuals to restore machines to proper working condition.
• Request assistance from the Lead Technician or Team Leader for troubleshooting complex breakdowns.
• Submit Spare Parts Requisition Forms to the Maintenance Team Leader for pre-approval to manage spare part consumption effectively.
• Complete post-repair cleaning of the work area according to established procedures, ensuring it is free from residues.
• Document repair completion on the Repair Request Form (RRF), including finishing time, task description, pending tasks, and any new findings.
• Obtain feedback and approval from the Production Team Leader on the RRF before submitting it to the Maintenance Team Leader.
• Carry out scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks based on checklists provided by the Maintenance Team Leader, noting any new findings for future scheduling.
• Perform in-house calibration tasks as instructed, adhering to set Calibration Work Instructions.
• Undertake 5S duties as per the established 5S plan to improve working conditions.

Safety and Compliance

• Familiarize yourself with all relevant health and safety procedures and instructions.
• Adhere to NAPCO-IFP safety standards and comply with Saudi Labor rules and legislation.
• Participate in Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) activities and attend required safety meetings.
• Attend all company-provided training sessions.
• Report any incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, or acts to your direct supervisor or the camp boss if accommodation-related.
• Correct unsafe conditions immediately if it is safe and possible to do so.
• Ensure all safety precautions are in place before commencing any work.
• Refuse to perform work if unsafe conditions exist.
• Use provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) safety equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and vehicles before use.
• Be knowledgeable about the emergency response plan and the location of first aid and firefighting equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. A degree from a Technical Institute is preferred.

Work Environment and Conditions

This role requires good physical condition and the ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment. The position involves alternating shifts.

Interactions and Interfaces

Internally, the Maintenance Technician will collaborate with all members of the Maintenance Team. Externally, interactions will include all Production Sections and the Spare Parts Store.
