About the Role

Catrion Group is seeking a Facility - Equipment Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of electro-mechanical equipment within food production facilities. The role involves leading and executing maintenance tasks to support 24-hour operations while adhering to strict safety and company policies.

Key Maintenance Responsibilities

• Lead and perform maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment used in food production and operation.
• Maintain critical equipment such as Conveyor Belts, Ovens, Dishwashing Machines, and Tilting Boiling Pans.
• Diagnose faults on all mechanical and electrical systems, performing necessary repairs or rectifications.
• Decide and arrange equipment transport to the workshop for major repairs, especially if on-site repair would hinder food production productivity.
• Observe and encourage cost consciousness through cross-utilization of usable parts and materials in the workshop and working areas.

Operational Management and Reporting

• Closely monitor equipment and system serviceability to ensure smooth 24-hour operations.
• Report equipment status and daily achievements to the Supervisor.
• Receive and collect Work Orders, assisting the Supervisor in planning and scheduling maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor for any action plan requiring a higher level's decision.
• Respond to high-priority jobs, particularly on critical equipment or systems.

Safety, Security, and Compliance

• Observe and adhere to personal and industrial safety practices in all working areas, utilizing proper signs and barriers.
• Adhere to Cybersecurity policies and procedures, including dealing with data according to classification levels.
• Avoid violating intellectual property rights (copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property) of any person or company.
• Comply with Cybersecurity requirements related to user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email.
• Adhere to the acceptable use policy and use company information and technical assets solely for business purposes.
• Report Cybersecurity incidents and obtain required permits from the security department before hosting visitors in sensitive company sites.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Teamwork and Resource Management

The Technician will attend technical and other meetings to maintain open lines of communication regarding work and enforced systems, following up on discussed topics and agendas. This role also involves assisting other HF-T sections as required. Responsibilities include ensuring proper utilization of tools and workshop equipment, especially on electrical control boards, accessing Technical Store records to withdraw spare parts, and operating company vehicles for responding to off-site call-outs. Other job-related duties may be assigned in accordance with Saudi Labor Law regulations.
