About the Role:
Join Parsons as a Senior Urban Planner and take the lead in developing and implementing strategic urban plans that contribute to sustainable urban growth. This position is pivotal in managing mega urban development projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic urban planning initiatives aligning with national and regional visions.
  • Manage coordination of major urban development projects, ensuring sustainable practices.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and governmental bodies to achieve project goals.
  • Provide expertise in zoning, land use, urban design, and infrastructure planning.
  • Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies to inform planning decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
  • Mentor junior planners and support team development.
  • Represent Parsons in high-level meetings and consultations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • A minimum of 13 years of experience in urban planning, especially with strategic planning and mega projects.
  • Strong background in sustainability and resilient urban development.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Saudi urban development regulations and Vision 2030 is highly valued.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.

Desired Skills:
  • Project management certification (*, PMP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Certification in sustainability (LEED or MOSTADAM) is advantageous.
