About the Role: Warehouse Manager

TK Elevator is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all company warehouses across the country. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous supply of essential materials, equipment, and spare parts to maintain business operations.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of all controlled items, from proper receiving and storage to efficient issuance and distribution. This role involves supervising auxiliary warehouse staff, providing support to other departments, and establishing and monitoring spare parts requirements crucial for Field Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to all company safety and compliance regulations.
  • Take overall responsibility for the management and performance of all warehouses within the country.
  • Maintain and optimize the companyโ€™s Warehouse Management System.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of daily material transactions, including receipts and issuance, in Daproh.
  • Place orders for all required spare parts, including items from Third-Party suppliers.
  • Manage and maintain the Material Resource Planning (MRP) system.
  • Ensure minimum required quantities of spare parts are consistently kept in stock.
  • Review and approve all warehouse stock Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to prevent surplus inventory and control total inventory value.
  • Arrange and process necessary material requests from various departments.
  • Liaise with the Purchasing Department to follow up on the status of requested materials.
  • Oversee the control and distribution of tools, staff uniforms, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Operations and Inventory Control

  • Establish and monitor security procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and security of warehouse operations and items.
  • Control inventory levels through regular physical counts and reconciliation with the data storage system.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing design layouts and inspecting equipment.
  • Schedule, assign tasks to, supervise, and support the professional development of Warehouse staff, monitoring their work results.
  • Ensure material costs are accurately charged against valid contracts and prevent issuance against expired contracts unless explicitly approved.
  • Follow up with Operations regarding the posting or return of discrepant materials, such as those issued for testing beyond a specified date or for expired contracts.
  • Verify that new and incoming materials are thoroughly checked before being binned at their designated locations.
  • Report monthly material consumption, receipts, and inventory value to effectively control materials issued within established monthly budgets and limits.
  • Initiate follow-up for material collection if items are not picked up by the requestor in a timely manner, optimizing space utilization.
  • Conduct test case scenarios for material movement within Daproh and update the results accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in warehouse management or a similar field, demonstrating a strong understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
