About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a dedicated HSE Officer, specifically a Saudi National, to join its health, safety, and environmental team. This role will focus on the NEOM project in the Tabuk region, ensuring a zero-harm environment across construction and infrastructure packages. The position requires a Saudi National committed to upholding rigorous safety standards on mega-projects and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure immediate corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor compliance with Parsons' HSE policies, NEOM-specific safety regulations, and relevant Saudi Arabian environmental and labor laws.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions to contractors and site personnel.
• Assist in investigating incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, contributing to the development of preventive action reports.
• Review contractor Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Method Statements to confirm integration of all safety precautions before work commences.
• Maintain accurate HSE logs, incident records, and performance metrics for daily and weekly reporting to senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience as an HSE Officer.
• Mandatory, hands-on field experience within the fast-paced environment of the NEOM project in the Tabuk region.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of construction safety standards.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Strong conflict resolution abilities.
