Join Quest Global as a Mechanical Technician (Rotating Equipment)
At Quest Global, we are committed to engineering excellence and a brighter future. We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspection of rotating machinery, along with associated static and piping systems.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Install, align, maintain, and repair rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, etc.).
• Conduct routine and predictive maintenance using vibration analysis and other condition monitoring tools.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in rotating and associated static equipment and piping systems.
• Prepare technical reports based on findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OEM specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Assist in overhauls and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Calibrate and maintain condition monitoring instruments, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance and condition monitoring.
• Certified in Vibration Analysis (ISO Category I or II).
• Familiarity with static equipment and piping systems in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Downstream Facilities.
• Experience with SharePoint for document management.
• Basic Safety & HSE Training (*, confined space entry, working at height, H2S awareness).
• Experience with Shutdowns & Turnarounds in oil & gas plants.

The Role
As a Demi Chef, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by supporting the food production of the hotel.

As Demi Chef you will need to:

• Adhere to Red Sea Global Hospitality food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality culinary offerings to our guests.
• Supervise and oversee junior employees, maintain the section's operations, and uphold established standards.
• Assist in the preparation & service of food, and complete any tasks required and to report and advise on any issue.
• Continually aim to enhance and improve the culinary presentation guidelines.
• Participate and attend company and department meetings and training sessions set by the company or department.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environment procedures, instructions, and control by consistently reviewing kitchen operations and products standards.
• Perform any additional duties as required for operational smoothness.
