Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the annual business plan and budget calendar with Finance and all departments, consolidating an integrated plan.
- Maintain the financial and operational planning assumptions register and its version history.
- Manage the portfolio of strategic initiatives, including new revenue streams, capacity expansion, and process improvement, with clear governance and schedules.
- Prepare and challenge business cases with Finance, tracking benefits post-implementation.
- Conduct monthly business unit reviews covering revenue, margin, cost, productivity, and service KPIs for each revenue stream.
- Lead the monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) cycle, encompassing demand, supply, capacity, cost, and cash.
- Design the KPI framework and cascade it from Botanica level to departments and sections.
- Produce monthly performance packs and dashboards, facilitating monthly performance reviews.
- Track actual versus plan by cost center and contract with Finance, analyzing variances and tracking corrective actions.
- Maintain the Botanica risk register and RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) with named owners and mitigations.
- Prepare board papers and GCEO presentation packs, ensuring data integrity.
- Lead the Planning & Performance and Control sections, building planning, data, and project-control capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Botanica and RSG Group policies, delegation of authority (DoA), processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Apply and champion the safety, quality, and environmental management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and the compliance management system (ISO 37301).
- Identify and lead opportunities for continuous improvement in departmental systems, processes, and practices.
Job Context
This role is central to a business with multiple revenue streams and business units that share resources such as people, land, water, and equipment. A primary challenge involves maintaining a single, consistent version of truth across all plans, financial models, and presentations, ensuring reconciliation to confirmed data sources. The PMO Lead must identify and address any conflicts between data sources rather than overlooking them.

- Demonstrated ability to manage integrated business plans and operational planning cycles.
- Experience in KPI scorecard management and business unit performance reviews.
- Proficiency in cost and variance control, risk register management, and strategic initiative portfolios.
