Job Description

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Saudi National to fill the role of Risk Lead Officer in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This position is responsible for overseeing the risk management framework for operations in the Tabuk region, with a specific focus on complex mega-project packages. The Risk Lead Officer will identify, assess, and mitigate strategic, operational, and financial risks to ensure project objectives are met safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the Project Risk Management Plan, adhering to Parsons' standards and NEOM governance frameworks.
  • Facilitate risk identification workshops with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify emerging threats and opportunities.
  • Maintain and update the project Risk Register, conducting qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations as applicable.
  • Develop, monitor, and track the effectiveness of risk mitigation action plans with key task owners.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk dashboards and reports for senior leadership, detailing critical risk trends, exposure levels, and contingency recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and provide guidance to junior team members and project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Arts/Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is also considered.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in project risk management.
  • Mandatory, hands-on experience navigating the unique challenges of the NEOM project ecosystem within the Tabuk region.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in risk management software such as Primavera Risk Analysis, @RISK, or Active Risk Manager.
  • Experience with advanced data visualization tools.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams on a high-profile mega-project site.

Work Environment
