We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Arabic Teacher to join our growing school community in Amaala, Saudi Arabia. This is a startup environment with a diverse, multilingual student population and a strong focus on flexibility, collaboration, and inclusive practice.

Role Overview:
The Arabic Teacher will deliver high-quality Arabic language instruction to both native and non-native speakers, often within multigrade classes where students of different ages, stages, and language profiles may learn together. In the lower years, native and non-native Arabic speakers will be taught in the same class, requiring strong differentiation skills and flexible planning. Arabic is a national subject in Saudi Arabia, and the role requires careful alignment of the Saudi national curriculum objectives within the school’s International Baccalaureate (IB) framework and philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Arabic lessons for native and non-native speakers across a range of ages and abilities.
  • Differentiation in multigrade classes to ensure age and grade-level objectives are met.
  • Align Arabic teaching with Saudi national requirements while embedding IB approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, including homeroom teachers.
  • Contribute flexibly to the wider life of the school as needs evolve.

Essential Requirements:
  • Degree in Arabic.
  • Native-level Arabic proficiency.
  • Strong experience or confidence working in multigrade classrooms.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing class structures.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate (PYP and/or MYP).
  • Experience supporting wider school activities.
  • Saudi nationality and/or experience working in the country.
