Job Summary

Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking an A/C Technician - Saudi Talent to join its maintenance team. This full-time position is based in Makkah and is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Role Overview

The A/C Technician is responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of temperature and air quality control systems throughout the hotel. This role involves ensuring the optimal functioning of all related electrical and mechanical systems to maintain guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the hotel, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems within the hotel.
• Monitor the performance of refrigeration systems and components.
• Verify all door closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezers (door gaskets/latches).
• Check and maintain all defrosting systems and automation of ice makers.
• Address maintenance requests from all departments.
• Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
• Monitor the performance of air-conditioning and chill water systems.
• Cooperate with engineering colleagues in the detection of failures of air-condition and refrigeration systems and function setup.
• Exercise strict control on the venting of CFC’s to the atmosphere.
• Overhaul air-condition/refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Check all refrigeration and oil levels and control major repairs.
• Cooperate and inform the Engineering Storekeeper on the purchase of parts.
• Carry out all works as per the country's technical regulations and safety standards.

Required Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in maintenance, specifically with A/C and refrigeration systems.

• Ability to provide effective customer service in a maintenance context.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Strong technical aptitude for electrical and mechanical systems.

Work Environment
